I'm getting ready for our annual 'Cousins Luncheon' on Saturday. The Sun Room we added to our house will be a good place for us to enjoy this gathering. For several years the female cousins on my mother's side have set aside a day in April to met for a meal and lot of catching up. I was happy to find these place mats that are the colors in the table clothes on the round tables! By the way, those cloths were actually Vera Wang shower curtains I found at Tuesday Morning! All I did was cut off the heading and re-hem. They are water repellent and I just love them.

There will be a few husbands present, so I set this table for them. The little Pansies came up from seed dropped from the planter of Pansies. I dug them up and placed them in butter containers. I punched holes for drainage, wrapped with squares of a cheap yellow plastic table cloth, then wrapping paper that picks up the blue, green and yellow theme and finished with some yellow or purple craft tape to hold the paper around them. The blue glasses, which were here when we married, add a nice touch.
Instead of these artificial hydrangeas, I plan to use some Azaleas or Dogwood in some large clear vases.
I think I may use four of these potted pansies on a cake stand on the main table, instead of lining up four of the pots down the center, since it saves space. What do you think?
After seven years of being married to Jeep and living in his house, I continue to find little treasures. Look at these cute square dishes I found this morning! I plan to serve a congealed salad in them on Saturday!
Party on!
